Bridging Design and Affordability
Co-founder Hongdi is a registered architect, graduated with a Master of Architecture from UWA in 2018. Since then, he has worked on a wide range of architectural projects, from luxury homes to CBD skyscrapers and iconic museums. Clients sometimes sought his advice on furniture purchasing, and it was then he noticed a divide in the furniture market—either expensive ‘designer pieces’ or poorly crafted furniture lacking basic quality and design. There was a clear need for well-designed and crafted furniture at reasonable prices.
Started and Setting Up
Yiyan, the other co-founder, graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Queensland. Together, they founded benssur to provide well-designed, high-quality furniture at fair prices, aiming to make beautiful pieces accessible to all. By operating fully online and partnering directly with leading manufacturers, benssur confidently offers better prices and quality than most others.
Up and Running
After thorough preparation, benssur launched a carefully curated replica furniture collection, featuring some of the most iconic and timeless designer chairs, all by architects—a perfect choice for any home. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can shop confidently, knowing they are getting next-level quality and value.
